A long time ago, a Polish guy by the name of Jurek Owsiak attended the legendary Woodstock festival in New York. In that moment, he decided that Poland needed a new festival. And just like that, Woodstock Poland was born. Zoom forward 23 years and Woodstock has morphed into a multi genre shitshow of debauchery, with a heavy emphasis on music that can only be classified as rave metal.

The vagabond-friendly festival comes at a great price: absolutely free! Thus, travelers flock to the festival year after year and set up camps in the forest spreading nearly 5 km from the festival stages. With somewhere between 100,000 and 1,000,000 attendees (nobody knows since there are no tickets, but Wikipedia says 850,000), the sea of partiers stretches well beyond the horizon in every direction with Krishna village as part of it.
