Sri Vrindavan Dham, the transcendental place of Sri Krishnas
Vrindavan is a historical City in the Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh, India. It is one of the main locations in the Braj Bhoomi region, and is also where, according to Hinduism, Lord Krishna spent his childhood days. The town is about 11 km away from Mathura, Krishnas birthplace on the Agra-Delhi highway. The town hosts many temples dedicated to the worship of Radha and Krishna and is considered sacred by Vaishnavism.

Trekking in the Langtang area of Nepal, spring 2013. The forests are full of red, pink and white rhododendron flowers. The mountain peaks are covered in fresh snow. The prayer flags flutter in the wind. The trek took us to the peaks at the top of the Langtang valley, including Tsergo Ri, with views of the lowest 8000m peak Sishapangma. Later we reached the sacred lakes at Gosainkund. Back in Kathmandu at the end are the many temples in Durbah Square, and the 43m high Bhudist stupa at Boudhanath.
Three friends adventure across Nepal with the goal of trekking the classic Annapurna Circuit and the Thorong-La Pass at an altitude of 5,416m whilst stopping by for a visit with an old friend on the way.
