Vaikuntha Ekadashi is said to be the day when the gate to the Lords holy abode is opened. Join SPN and Paramahamsa Vishwananda in Mauritius as we celebrate this auspicious day.

According to the Padma Purana, the demon Muran was about to kill Lord Vishnu who was in deep meditation when the Lords Shakti emerged and burned the demon to ash. Pleased with Her service, the Lord named Her Ekadashi and offered Her a boon. Thinking of others rather than Herself, She asked that all people who observe a fast on this day would be redeemed of their sins and attain Vaikuntha.
