Visit the most holy of all holy places, Radhakunda. Lost to the world for almost fifty centuries, it was rediscovered in 1516 when Chaitanya Mahaprabhu was on pilgrimage to Vraja. Today this small lake, found at the head of Govardhana Hill, attracts thousands of pilgrims every year.
Take a visual tour around Radhakunda, visiting the many sacred sites and temples along the way. This tour includes the Ashta Sakhi temple, the Radha Madhava temple, the Radhakanta temple, and many others.
On the second leg of our Char Dham parikrama we visited the holy site of Gangotri. Gangotri is situated not far from where Mother Ganges flows out of the Himalayan mountains. In the town of Gangotri is a beautiful temple where Mother Ganges is worshipped and people can be seen bathing in her sacred waters in the many ghats along the river. In this video we see scenes of Mother Ganges in both Haridwar and Gangotri as we hear of her descent from the spiritual world into the material creation.

От Черного Моря до Каспия протянулся горный хребет, условно являющийся южной границей между Европой и Азией. Он называется #Кавказ. В античные времена он разделял два абсолютно непохожих друга на друга мира. С севера это были владения скифов, гуннов, печенегов и других кочевых народов, в то время как юг принадлежал оседлым по своей сути цивилизациям, среди которых были греки, македонцы, римляне.
Кавказ был местом столкновения и слияния разных культур и местом рождения мифов, которые впитали в себя истории, происходившие по обе стороны этих гор.
Особенная роль была у северо-западной части Кавказа, где ныне находится республика Адыгея. Здесь через невысокий горный хребет вели тропы к Черному морю — к древним морским исследовательским, торговым и военным путям. Неудивительно, что именно в этой части Кавказских гор были особенно активны как живые люди, так и герои их легенд. Причем это справедливо как для древних времен, так и для наших дней.
Данный документальный фильм рассказывает о самых западных вершинах Кавказского хребта, образующих горный узел под названием Лаго-Наки. Здесь, еще в советские времена, в 30-е годы прошлого века, был организован знаменитый туристический маршрут номер 30 — через горы к Черному морю, — который тоже вписал несколько драматичных страниц в историю этих мест.
На юге край подпирают Монголия и Китай, немного западнее — Казахстан. Местное население, алтайцы, еще помнят родной язык, молятся языческим богам, охотятся и собирают таежные дары – #кедровые_орехи.
В сезон на этих склонах и перевалах царит ореховая лихорадка. Нам удалось попасть в одну из бригад сборщиков шишек. Здесь — как в казино. Шансы у всех одинаковые, но результат обязательно будет разный.
