Mayapur village — this little bubble brings feelings of safety, security and serenity. With manicured aesthetics and lots to do; This compound invites a variety of food, fun and education for all. The underlying buzz of festivities sweeps warmth across the compound quarters. It was lovely staying here amongst all the friendly faces and compassionate people.
Today we began our Kartika parikrama in Mayapur by visiting Nrsimha Palli and HariHara ksetra, two special holy places in the Dhama. There we discussed the glories of both Lord Nrsimha and Lord Siva. The spiritual atmosphere of these places was overwhelming and more so due to the ecstatic Kirtan’s we had! So much mercy is available in the places of the Lord’s pastimes.

Kamyavan signifies the forest that fulfils all spiritual desires. Our parikrama party took full advantage of our visit there by chanting from our hearts, hearing with rapt attention about the pastimes that took place in the forest there and by visiting a number of sacred temples and other sites. Kamyavan is rich with the history of Vedic culture. In particular is the deity of Vrindadevi, worshipped by Srila Rupa Goswami. Her presence in Kamyavan attracts many thousands of devotees each year. We all were mesmerised by her beauty and her and transcendental aura.
Vrinda devi helps Purnamasi plan and orchestrate Radha and Krsnas daily pastimes in Vrindavan. Our parikrama party had the good fortune to visit her kunda ( pond ) and discuss her glories and chant her holy names in that beautiful and sanctified abode.
