Simple, profound truths are the realm of this Buddhist nun. Her message? The gift of happiness truly lies within our own hearts and minds. Gen Kelsang Nyema, exuding a peacefulness that immediately connects with the audience, starts by asking three questions: Are you having a good day? Why? Tomorrow, would you rather have a good day or a bad day? She teaches that we cannot put our happiness at the whim of other people and of circumstances. If we want to be happy, we have to «stop outsourcing our happiness to other people» and cultivate a source of inner peace. What happens next is quite astounding. The whole crowd of 350 people proceeds to meditate with Nyema. Theres a little squirming at first, but as she leads the audience through a calm citation of how to rest the mind, audience members feel a collective relaxation flow into the room and through the people. Fascinating! Refreshing.

We have to talk about porn! We have to talk about what message porn is sending and what it teaches our children! More and more extreme content found in mainstream porn, making people less sensitive to sexual aggression. Despite these alarming facts, porn is still one of our biggest taboos. Today, most children are first exposed to pornography at a worryingly young age, in fact, porn is the number one sex educator among young teenagers. Porn is a drug, but why isn’t it treated as an addiction?
In addition to being a public speaker, author and educator Maria is also head of youth organization Changing attitudes. As an expert on issues concerning pornography and sex-buying she has given more than 400 public talks. In her research, she has met with more than 500 people in prostitution, as well as thousands of sex-offenders. Narda Pitkethly created a system that profoundly simplifies learning how to read. Watch how her system reduces illiteracy and many of its negative consequences. Narda Pitkethly moved to Japan after college and discovered the Japanese had created a simple method of learning to read, called Hiragana. Through their method, Narda learned to read Japanese in a week. Within three months, her comprehension allowed her to communicate freely in her home city of Fukuoka.
In 1988 Narda moved from Japan to Sun Valley because the small community and year-round outdoor activities enticed her. An accomplished glassblower, she often travels to Boise to create works of art.
When her daughter was identified as a challenged reader in the first grade, Narda discovered that English is one of the hardest languages in the world to learn to read, even for native speakers. Narda analyzed the English alphabet to understand why it is so difficult (1 in 4 children grow up without learning to read). She organized the letters in the same way the Japanese organized their Hiragana characters. Narda reveals an approach to the English language you have never seen before. Студия «Мосфильм», 1961 год. Виктор Хрусталев — молодой, талантливый оператор. Однажды он выпивал со своим другом-сценаристом Костиком в общаге ВГИКа. И нужно же было такому случиться, Костя выпал из окна и погиб. После его смерти он обнаруживает сценарий, который не был в свое время утвержден, и понимает, что это совершенно чумовая вещь. Он мечтает снять по этому сценарию фильм.
На похоронах он встречается с режиссером Егором Мячиным. И вскоре им подвернулась возможность вместе поучаствовать на съемках картины под названием «Девушка и бригадир». Присутствует в картине и любовная интрига. Виктор и Егор поочередно встречаются со студенткой химфака МГУ Марьяной, которая попадает на их же картину в качестве главной актрисы. Чтобы показать колорит тех времен, в завершении каждой серии звучат стихи и песни той эпохи.
