Описание:
Иван — единственный мужчина в семье. Он окружен заботами мамы, бабушки и двух сестер. Женщины не дают ему «продохнуть», мучая советами по поводу личной жизни. Однажды молодой человек заключает пари с одной безбашенной девицей, представляя ее своей семье в качестве будущей жены. Иван делает это намеренно, чтобы когда он приведет в дом настоящую любимую девушку, семья приняла бы ее радостно. Родственники в недоумении и не могут смириться с взбалмошной невесткой, но постепенно девушка вносит изменения в размеренный уклад семьи…

Simple, profound truths are the realm of this Buddhist nun. Her message? The gift of happiness truly lies within our own hearts and minds. Gen Kelsang Nyema, exuding a peacefulness that immediately connects with the audience, starts by asking three questions: Are you having a good day? Why? Tomorrow, would you rather have a good day or a bad day? She teaches that we cannot put our happiness at the whim of other people and of circumstances. If we want to be happy, we have to «stop outsourcing our happiness to other people» and cultivate a source of inner peace. What happens next is quite astounding. The whole crowd of 350 people proceeds to meditate with Nyema. Theres a little squirming at first, but as she leads the audience through a calm citation of how to rest the mind, audience members feel a collective relaxation flow into the room and through the people. Fascinating! Refreshing.

Carrie Green started her first online business at the age of 20, whilst studying Law at the University of Birmingham. Executive director of Stanford’s design program at the d.School, Bill Burnett uses design thinking, a career’s worth of starting companies and coaching students, and a childhood spent drawing cars and airplanes under his Grandmother’s sewing machine to inform his work on how to design your life. In five eyebrow-raising findings, Burnett offers simple but life-changing advice on designing the life you want, whether you are contemplating college or retirement.

After years of drawing cars and airplanes under his Grandmother’s sewing machine, Bill Burnett went to college where he discovered that there were people in the world who did this kind of thing every day (without the sewing machine), and they were called designers. Thirty years, five companies, and a couple thousand students later, Burnett is still drawing and building things, teaching others how to do the same, and quietly enjoying the fact that no one has discovered that he is having too much fun. As Executive Director of the Design Program at Stanford, he runs undergraduate and graduate programs in design, both interdepartmental programs between the mechanical engineering and art departments. Burnett worked on design of the award-winning Apple PowerBooks and the original Hasbro Star Wars action figures. He holds a number of mechanical and design patents.
