Overcoming hopelessness | Nick Vujicic | TEDxNoviSad

Never miss a talk! SUBSCRIBE to the TEDx channel: bit.ly/1FAg8hB

Nick talks about the importance of parenting in early childhood and its significance in overcoming hopelessness. Willpower is a driving force for making our big dreams come true, but if we dont get a miracle in life, we can always be a miracle to someone else.

Nick Vujicic was born in Australia to a Serbian immigrant family, with a rare disorder characterized by the absence of all four limbs. Most of his childhood he struggled with depression, and after a suicide attempt he decided to concentrate on what he did have instead on what he didnt. He realized that his life story inspires many people.

A Day In A Himalayan Forest | Documentary Film Nepal

Himalayan forests are home to abundant biodiversity. Forests play an important role in the livelihoods of rural people worldwide, particularly in the poorest socio-economic groups (i.e., indigenous peoples, peasant communities, tribal and rural societies) living in and around forested areas. In this film we follow a group of Kham Magars from Mid-Western Nepal that set on a journey to the high Himalayas to gather wood for building a village house. The wood was collected at the altitude of 3500m (11500ft) above the village of Maikot in Rukum District.

Harinama harinama harinama eva kevalam. Indradyumna Swami Bharatpur 3.02.2018

As promised, we returned to the town of Bharatpur, one hours drive from Vrindavan, with with a large harinam party. Bharatpur is famous as the «Iron Fort.» Due to its heavy defenses it was never conquered by Muslim invasions or during British rule. Not conquered that is, until we flooded the town with the nectar of the holy names of the Lord! People we initially stunned to see us, but were soon waving and smiling as we passed by. A number of citizens joined our chanting party and danced with us in great happiness. We distributed many books and thousands of pieces of prasadam. Afterwards we visited a newly opened museum in the Kings Palace. What a joy to spread the holy names here, there and everywhere!

Visiting The First Temple in Vrindavan with Indradyumna Swami

Yesterday our parikrama party visited the temple of Madan Mohan. The beautiful and ornate structure was he first temple to be constructed in Vrindavan. The temple is situated on a small hill overlooking the Yamuna river and surrounding plains. It was the perfect atmosphere for Krsna katha and the sweet singing of the Lords holy names. We also visited the sacred samadhi of Srila Sanatan Goswami, where we dove deeper into the mysteries of this transcendental land of Sri Vrindavan dhama.
