Год, когда про Вангу вспомнил весь мир: все, о чем она предупредила, сбылось. Когда отступит коронавирус и чем снова удивит Китай? Какую болезнь удастся заковать в железные цепи? И как изменится мир после ухода Дональда Трампа?
It was around three months ago when I visited my friend that works at the steel waste. He made an amazing found. He found multible items that were in a very rough condition. They almost had some kind of concrete on them and a lot of heavy rust. This little screwdriver got my attention right away. It was not clearly visible what the function of it was, but I remember that I thought it might be some kind of ratchet mechanism. At home I posted a few pics of it in my Instagram story. It didnt took long for @hand tool rescue to reply, as he has the same screwdriver, just a slightly modern version of it, but similar mechanism. After some research I found some more pics and videos online. The brand is „Weltrekord“ made in Germany and its called „Hebelschraubenzieher“ which meas „lever scredriver“. The model I found was the first ever designed one from 1891. Weltrekord later made some small changes on the design. Newer ones have a small collet to clamp the insert bits and even newer ones came with plastic handles instead of wood.
At first I thought this will be a quick straight forward restoration project. It turned out to be a very tricky one. The most difficult part was definitely the disassembly, it took me three full days to get it in pieces. Heavy rust has done so much damage to all of the parts. Unfortunately the handle cracked when I removed it. I tried to restore it, but it became a huge mess and I decided to make a new one to have a nice and clean look. Theres a 40 minutes version of this video on my Patreon page where I show how I tried to repair the handle. I had to weld up material on a lot of parts and machined and sanded it clean afterwards. That all worked perfectly fine. Some parts have still very slight pitting but overall it turned out very well. For the finish on the steel parts I decided to try nickel plating for the first time and it worked fantastic. I went with a brushed finish and with the nickel coat the parts turned out amazing. I really like the look of the nickel plated parts with the wooden handle.
I hope you like my work and the video.

Brad Blanton Phd. is a psychotherapist, trainer and american writer, author of the «Radical Honesty» bestseller, a book and a theory that challenges a fundamental and almost unchallenged belief of our society. In a truly honest talk, maybe brutally honest, Mr. Blanton convinced the audience that honesty, and not politeness or political correctness is the essence of human relationships and a fulfilled life. Maybe being radically honest all the time is difficult to accept, maybe it is even an idea that a lot of people cannot digest but it is surely an idea that at least has to be intellectually entertained.

The contemporary medical research has come up with enough evidence that mind is the seat of all diseases and that we are surrounded by myths. Dr.B M Hegde is a medical scientist, cardiologist, educationist and author who has contributed immensely in the field of healthcare medical science. He speaks about how change is found everywhere and that change is life. He talks about the level of difficulty seen in removing myths. He cites the examples of taking medicines for minor illnesses which otherwise could be cured by sipping hot water which destroys the virus or by using the readily available Indian herbs. A good doctor according to him is the one who empathizes and builds faith in his patient. He says that change is a must and science has to change. He stresses on the fact that knowledge advances by changing myths and not by repeating the known things. This talk was given at an independently organised TEDx event using the TED conference format. Dr.B M Hegde is an Indian medical scientist, educationist and an author. Dr. Hegde is Padma Bhushan awardee 2010. He is the former Vice Chancellor of Manipal University, Co-Chairman of the TAG-VHS Diabetes Research Centre, Chennai and the chairman of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mangalore.

Fifty years ago, a 70-year-old monk travelled from India to the United States in the hope of starting a spiritual revolution.
His name was Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and on July 13, 1966 he incorporated the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), formalising what is widely known as the Hare Krishna movement.
ISKCON now runs 602 temples, 54 schools and 65 farming communities across the globe.
This month, the New Govardhana Hare Krishna community at Eungella, near Murwillumbah in northern New South Wales, hosted about 1,000 visitors to mark the 50th anniversary of ISKCON.
New Govardhana president Ajita Dasa said the milestone proved the Hare Krishnas belonged to a serious religious institution.
«It means the establishment has gone through what most religious organisations have gone through,» he said.
Preparations are in full swing for this year’s Polish Woodstock festival — renamed the Pol’and’Rock festival. Two and half million young people are expected. Our devotees are busy setting up our famous “Krsna’s Village Of Peace.” Devotees are arriving from Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Croatia, Macedonia, France, Germany and a number of other countries. It’s the 25th year of the Pol’and’Rock festival and the whole area is buzzing with activity. Many people are arriving early and all of them are asking when we’ll start our food ( prasadam ) distribution. We’re almost ready — most of the 48 tons of foodstuffs we’ll use to distribute approximately 160,000 plates of prasadam has arrived. And our kirtan tent is ready to resound with the holy names day and night. A massive maha yajna is about to begin. I have no doubt the demigods are also arriving in their flower airplanes!
