At 17 years old and a senior in high school, Cole produced his first music video. Discovering this deep passion, he founded Lyrical Lemonade while still in high school. After graduation, Cole moved to Chicago to attend DePaul University and further chase his dreams for Lyrical Lemonade. Cole’s dreams quickly became an undeniable reality that led him to dropout of college. His imprint, Lyrical Lemonade, is now a multi-faceted company that specializes in visual content, live events, high demand merchandise and more. At the age of 22, Cole has now directed over 300 music videos for some of the most influential artists that have amassed over 2.8 billion views. All throughout the Woodstock festival Krsna’s Village of Peace was teeming with tens of thousands of people exploring all we had to offer: kirtan, dramas, books, yoga, shops, exhibits and a tent where they could inquire from senior devotees. Our Ratha Yatra Cart traversed the entire Woodstock site numerous times each day. Colourfully dressed, devotees seemed to be chanting and dancing everywhere in ecstasy. Over 150,000 plates of delicious prasadam were distributed. We cooked more than 38 tons of foodstuffs! As the festival drew to a close I meditated on a verse by Srila Prabodhananda Sarasvati:
“The fortunate town of Navadwip remains on the earth. The seashore remains. The city of Jagannath Puri remains.The holy names of Lord Krsna remain. Alas! I do not see anywhere the same kind of festival of pure love for Lord Hari. O Lord Caitanya! O ocean of mercy! Will I ever see Your transcendental glory again?"

Yamunotri
In this segment, “Yamunotri”, we visit close to the source of the holy Yamuna river. With our eyes we see her sacred waters and with our ears we hear how she descended from the spiritual world. A special feature is beautiful footage the Himalayan mountains.
Gangotri
On the second leg of our Char Dham parikrama we visited the holy site of Gangotri. Gangotri is situated not far from where Mother Ganges flows out of the Himalayan mountains. In the town of Gangotri is a beautiful temple where Mother Ganges is worshipped and people can be seen bathing in her sacred waters in the many ghats along the river. In this video we see scenes of Mother Ganges in both Haridwar and Gangotri as we hear of her descent from the spiritual world into the material creation.
Kedarnath — The Abode Of Lord Siva
Kedarnath was the third stop our on pilgrimage to the Himalayas. Despite a devastating flood in 2013 which destroyed much of the infrastructure, the temple remains intact as it has for 5,000 years. It was built on the order of the five Pandava brothers for the express worship of Lord Siva. The Siva lingam inside is in the shape of a hump. Adi Sankaracarya renovated the temple and lived in Kedarnath for sometime. He actually passed away there at the age of 32 years. His samadhi was near the temple but was washed away in the flood in 2013. Vaisnavas worship Lord Siva as the greatest Vaisnava, a per the statement in Srimad Bhagavatam.
Badrinath — A Destination Supreme
Badrinath is famous as one of the larger Char Dhamas of India. Those dhamas are Ramesvaram, Jagannath Puri, Dwarka and Badrinath. Situated high in the Himalayas on the banks of the Alakananda river Badrinath has been visited by great saintly persons since time immemorial. The deity in the temple is self-manifested from a salagram sila and is two feet high. During the winter when it becomes unbearably cold, the temple is closed for 6 months. Before closing the doors the pujaris light a ghee lamp which is found to be still burning when they open the doors 6 months later. It is understood that Narada Muni and various demigods perform the worship during those cold winter months. Nearby is the cave where Srila Vyasadeva wrote down the Vedic scriptures. The border of China is only a few meters away.

It is there that Krsna would ornament and decorate Srimati Radharani, to the delight of all Her gopi friends. Yes there are many Hare Krishnas in China, but they are not public about it. It’s forbidden to chant on the streets and even kirtan in houses has to be very quiet. The government is less restrictive than it was and the numbers are growing steadily, but I don’t see a dedicated temple being built anytime soon. A good number of Buddhist temples were destroyed by the Communists so they aren’t likely to sanction any new ones soon. To fill the gap that atheistic communism creates the government is encouraging interest in Confucianism as it contains valuable teachings without acknowledging a Supreme Person.
